FIVE LOCAL EVENTS RECEIVE GRANT MONEY

Elgin County Economic Development announced that they will be supporting five local events this year with grant funding. The grant money is through the 2017 Festival and Event Partnership. $6000 will be split between the five events.
The events are the Port Stanley Harbourfest, the Rosy Rhubarb Festival the Sparta Scarecrow Festival the Off the Wall and Off the Vine Art Show and the Bayham Beachfest.
Each of the festivals applied and best met the program criteria. This is the 8th year that Elgin County has supported local events and festivals with grant money.
