The St. Thomas Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Ponsford Place this morning. The department received the call at 9:40 a.m. from a neighbour who witnessed the fire. When firefighters arrived they found 2 vehicles that were on fire in the laneway of a home.
It is reported that the fire spread from 1 vehicle to the other in the laneway and also reached a portion of the home’s porch.
Once on scene the department was able to put out the fire quickly and with no issues. No cause of fire has be determined, however they do suspect that it was a electrical issue with the vehicle.
No injuries were caused as a result of the fire.
